![]() ![]() ![]() You may actually want to buy a copy of Little Santa because after you read it, your kids will want to hear the story again. Both boys look awesome in their red coats. One of my favorite things about Little Santa is his outfit – it reminds me of Peter in The Snowy Day. He enjoys meeting reindeer and going into chimneys. But….Little Santa seems to enjoy being cold. I totally get that and think the Claus family made a good call. After a while, life in the snowy north takes its toll and they decide to move to Florida. ![]() Claus and their children (including Santa) who live at the North Pole (of course!). Whenever I have a student who seems a little bored with picture books, I show them Felix Clousseau. He is the author and illustrator of many books for children, including two of my all-time favorites: Milo’s Hat Trick and The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau. Until then, my college age son will get to hear it!įirst, a word about Jon Agee. I plan to add a copy to my own holiday collection – and save for future grandchildren. I think this one will become part of the annual rotation in lots of families. Little Santa by Jon Agee is one of the most delightful Christmas picture books I’ve seen in years. But after reading The Night Before Christmas and a couple of family favorites ( Polar Express? The Grinch?), there’s time for one more story. Now it’s time to read Christmas books – the most magical books of the year. ![]()
