One of my favorite things about Little Santa is his outfit – it reminds me of Peter in The Snowy Day. He enjoys meeting reindeer and going into chimneys. But….Little Santa seems to enjoy being cold. I totally get that and think the Claus family made a good call. After a while, life in the snowy north takes its toll and they decide to move to Florida. ![]() Claus and their children (including Santa) who live at the North Pole (of course!). Whenever I have a student who seems a little bored with picture books, I show them Felix Clousseau. He is the author and illustrator of many books for children, including two of my all-time favorites: Milo’s Hat Trick and The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau.
